Product Performance

The ceramic elbow has good corrosion resistance, light weight and can be installed easily. The surface of the alumina ceramic elbow is smooth and not easy to accumulate. The Al2o3 ceramic raw material is a close-packed hexagonal structure composed of oxygen ions, and aluminum ions are filled in two-thirds of the eight-sided gap, which is as stable as the diamond structure. Therefore, ceramics have high melting point, high toughness and good wear resistance. The strength of the ceramic patch type is ≥ HRA85, which is close to the strength of diamond, the surface is smooth and clean, the friction resistance is small, and the wear resistance is quite ideal. Even in high temperature, air oxidizing substances or corrosive media, the performance of ceramic chip materials is still much stronger than other metal materials. From the actual effect of anti-corrosion, the performance of wear-resistant ceramic elbow is about 5 times that of composite ceramic elbow.

Installation method

The installation methods of  Alumina Ceramic Tile mainly include welding connection and flange connection. Flange connection can be divided into welding flange, flange retaining ring and movable flange. Flange retaining ring and movable flange are usually used together:

1. Welded flanges: Welded flanges can be directly welded to wear-resistant ceramic pipes. The flange holes are usually centered or mid-span. The outer side of the flange usually has a slight thickness step with 2 -3 sealing water lines to strengthen the sealing effect, the welding flange is fixed after welding and cannot be moved;

2. Flange retaining ring: the retaining ring is used in conjunction with the movable flange to block the movable flange from leaving the wear-resistant ceramic pipe, usually with a sealing waterline to enhance the sealing effect;

3. Movable flange: The inner diameter of the movable flange is larger than that of the welded flange, which is convenient for moving on the pipeline. The movable flange is directly inserted into the wear-resistant ceramic pipe, and the end of the pipe is welded with a retaining ring. The movable flange can be 360 degrees. Rotation, easy to adjust the position of the pipe during installation, usually used for elbows and tees.

There are usually certain rules for the selection of flanges for wear-resistant ceramic pipes. Welding flanges are usually used on straight pipes. One end of the elbow uses a welded flange and the other end uses a movable flange, or both ends use welded flanges. Usually two straight pipes use movable flanges, or three movable flanges are used directly, which is easy to adjust during installation, more convenient to install, and easy to disassemble.
